ABOUT OMOLARA OLADIPO
Omolara Oladipo obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Combined Honours), Bachelor of Laws, Barrister of Laws and Master of Laws (LL.M) from Nigeria. Omolara was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1999. Omolara obtained another LL.M from the University of Alberta, this time in International Environmental Law. Since 1999, Omolara has appeared before various levels of courts, boards and tribunals on behalf of clients on a variety of civil litigation matters.
Omolara was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2009 and is a civil litigator whose practice was housed in a global law firm from 2008 to 2021.
Omolara has been active in her community where she has volunteered for various causes and continues to do so. Such causes include the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, Pro Bono Law Alberta, WINhouse, Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Juvenile Diabetes and Research Foundation Cabinet. Omolara has also acted as the organizer and coach for university students who participated in the International Negotiation Competition organized by the American Bar Association and subsequently as coach to teams of students for the Canadian National Negotiation Competition. She was also a sessional instructor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Alberta.
